- EU data hosting: All data is stored on servers located within the European Union.

- Right to rectification: You may request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
- Right to erasure: You may request deletion of your account and all associated personal data. We will fulfil this request within 30 days.

The legal basis for our processing is Contractual necessity (providing the service you signed up for) and Legitimate interests (product improvement, security).
5. Cookies
We use the following types of cookies:
- Necessary cookies: Required for the platform to function. These include session cookies, authentication tokens, and security cookies. These cannot be disabled without affecting service functionality.
- Analytics cookies: We use Plausible Analytics (plausible.io) to understand how visitors use our site. Plausible is a privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics service that does not track personal data or use cookies. All data is anonymized and aggregated.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party marketing trackers.

7. Data Retention
We retain your personal data as follows:
- Account data: Retained for the duration of your active subscription and for 90 days after account deletion.
- Chat conversations: Retained for the duration of your active subscription. Deleted within 30 days of account closure.
- Support communications: Retained for 2 years after the last interaction.
- Analytics data: Aggregated and anonymized data may be retained indefinitely for product improvement purposes.
8. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, regular security reviews, and secure data storage practices.
While we make every effort to secure your data, no system is completely immune to security incidents. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal data, we will notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware, in accordance with GDPR Article 33.
9. Children's Privacy
SnapAgent is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from, individuals under the age of 16. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor without verified parental consent, we will delete that data promptly.
